About Snoring Inn

A family of houses, run by a family of hosts.

Snoring Inn started with one small B&B in Hlabisa in 2017. Today it's four properties across three towns, all still run by the same family — siblings, cousins, and a handful of trusted neighbours. We're not a chain. We're a household, scaled up.

What we believe

Three small ideas that shape every stay.

01

Welcome before product.

How a guest is greeted matters more than thread counts. We answer the door ourselves whenever we can.

02

Honest, not inflated.

We describe what's actually in each room. No “boutique” word-painting, no stock-photo lies.

03

Local, on purpose.

Every property is in a town we know personally. The recommendations are ours, not a brochure's.

A short history

How we got to four.

2017
Hlabisa B&B opens
Three rooms above a family home. We learn that breakfast matters more than wi-fi.

Green Tree, Mtubatuba
Our first move beyond Hlabisa. A purpose-built nine-room house behind a generous garden.
2021
243 B&B opens nearby
Twelve rooms on the other side of Mtubatuba. Built for travelling workers between towns and the coast.
2023
Kwamsane B&B
Seven rooms close to the highway — a quiet stop for drivers heading north.
