Payment Policy
How to pay, when payment is due, and how to be certain you are paying us.

How you can pay
- Cash, at the property.
- Card, on the card machine at the property. Debit and credit cards are both accepted in person.
- EFT, as an immediate payment, before arrival.
When payment is due
- A 50% deposit confirms the booking and takes the room out of availability.
- The balance is due on arrival, before keys are handed over.
- Companies on an approved account are invoiced instead, on the terms agreed with management.
Until the deposit reflects, the booking is provisional and the room can go to somebody else.
Paying by EFT
EFT must be sent as an immediate payment. An ordinary EFT can take a day or more to clear, and we cannot release a room against a payment we cannot see.
- Make the payment as an immediate transfer.
- Use your reservation number as the payment reference, exactly as we gave it to you.
- Send us the proof of payment on WhatsApp or by email.
- Wait for us to confirm we have received it.
- Your room is held from the moment we confirm, not from the moment you send the proof.
Our banking details
Our banking details appear on the invoice or quote we send you, and nowhere else. We do not publish them on this website.
Payment references
Always pay using the reservation or invoice number we gave you. A payment with no reference or the wrong reference can take days to trace, and while it is untraced the room is not held.
Cash
Cash is welcome at the property and is receipted at the desk. Ask for your receipt and keep it. We do not give cash back at the property, including as change on a refund. Refunds are paid by EFT. See the Refund Policy.
Companies and contract accounts
Corporate guests, contractors and agencies can be invoiced against an approved account. We will need your company details, a contact person, and a purchase order or booking authorisation where your company requires one. Invoices are issued per booking with a reservation reference.
Prices and currency
All prices are in South African Rand.
Extras
Breakfast, meals, laundry and anything else you add during your stay is charged separately and settled before you leave. We will tell you the price before we do it, never after.
